We live in such a 'post-modern' society - what's right for me is ok for me and what's right for you is ok for you. The good side of this has been the lowering of absolute walls. Often times, there isn't a particularly right way to discipline, for example. One child will respond to a particular look. Another child will require more persuasive techniques. We can't say there is a 'right' way to discipline...

The downside of this is we're all left to discovering our own 'way'. We have nothing to compare ourselves to, nothing to say whether we're doing a good job or not, no objectivity.

- make sure their kids know y

What do you admire about him?
What are the qualities, actions, attitudes, etc. which make that person admirable?
Are those qualities universal, or do they represent areas where you have weaknesses?
Do you think other people admire that person's fathering as well?

The questions continue...
